Domino is an exceptionally powerful mutant who can alter probability laws to shift odds in her favor. She is a master weapon expert, capable of firing projectiles from her staff; an outstanding athlete, martial artist and linguist; as well as being gifted with powerful mutant psychic abilities to connect telepathically to other minds. Born Neena, she became one of the test subjects in Project Armageddon – an attempt by the U.S. government to genetically engineer an ideal weapon using precognitive mutant surrogates as models – who survived experiments but became unstable and subject to self-destructive behaviour as a result of them. As an adult, Domino joined X-Force, where she clashed with Donald Pierce and Lady Deathstrike when they attempted to download Milo Thurman’s mind into a computer. Domino stopped this process at the cost of Thurman’s life. Shortly afterwards she became possessed by Undying alien Aentaeros and used her to murder former teammate Semijan. Cable later saved Domino, and she returned to mercenary work.
